1 ) There are some new things at Club Plus Internet
We have a new telephone number 514-990-6753 without long-distance charges for our customers in the area code 450. This single number facilitates access to our adminstrative office and for technical support.
Our old number 514-392-2500 followed by 696-7358 will remain active for a while to allow you time to update your files.
Attention, for customer in the 514 the number 696-7358 will not be changed.
2 ) Our Christmas site is back on the net.
We have added lots more graphics and music this year.

4 ) Updating our server
The month of November has been a very busy month for us. We have added new modems and new telephone lines. This may have caused you some slight problems once in a while and we are sorry for that. Even more new lines are planned for the beginning of December, which will complete our updating for a while.
In the beginning of the new year we will start uploading our products pages and you will be able to purchase through Club Plus P.-S. We still want more products. If you know someone who would like to sell their products through Club Plus, please do not hesitate to refer us.

1.) Freeze your rates for one year
Club Plus now offers the possibility of freezing your rates for one year by
sending post-dated cheques for the next 12 months according to your regular
payments of 12, 4 or 2 cheques.
2.) Priviledges to Club Plus members for your classified ads
You can now submit your classified ads with a picture at no additional costs
to you. You can use 80 words instead of 40 and publication will be for 4
months. To add an ad you should fill in the form at classified site
and write in the message section "photo to follow by e-mail or regular mail" We will scan your
pictures for FREE. Note:- In order to return your picutres, please include
a stamped-self-addressed envelope.

4.) Watch those Cookies

In order to decrease the access time of sites you visit frequently, Internet
Explorer and Netscape copies Web pages and the images that they have read in
a specific directory file which serves as cache memory.
The Cookies are little files that some internet sites send to you and are
stored in your temporary internet directory file with Explorer and in Cache
with Netscape. These little cookies give the site administrators of that
site access to your tempory internet files. This information is used to
establish statistiques on the number of times you visit them as well as your
interests, your profile, and your internet habits.
There are certain advantages to accepting cookies. Example:- On returning
to a site already visited, the site recognizes you and if you had a shopping
cart it will display what you had in it when you left that site the last
time. On certain sites you are given announcements that correspond to your
particular interest. Also on certain sites your viewing preferences are
already established on your first visit like frames, no frames, background
images or not, and your first page.
Attention:- If you do financial transactions on the net. (If you access
your bank account or purchase with your credit card.) Even if the site you
performed your transaction is a secure encoded site you still keep a copy of
the site on which your credit card number is written in your cache memory.
If you then within the next few days go on a site that you have accepted a
cookie from, then the administrator of that site has access to your credit
card number or your banking information. It is therefore important to empty
your contents in your temporary internet files (cache) immediately following
a financial transaction. To do this:-
1.) With Explorer 3.0 - select View/Options/Advanced/Settings and empty
folder.
2.) With Explorer 4.0 - select View/Options/ and empty folder.
3.) With Netscape 4.0 - select Edit/Preferences/Advanced/ and empty disk
cache.
In the future if you make referrals, you will receive Club Plus Dollars that you will be able to use towards your monthly payments or to make purchases of Club Plus products (computers, computer parts, software). Club Plus Dollars can be accumulated and can not be be cashed-in.
